Great stories and pictures. Really appreciate you hoppin off the bike to take those snaps!
I think you should go ahead with your idea and make a book featuring all the lighthouses on the island! Have maps and interesting places to visit on the way and such, I'd definitely pick up a copy for when I get my bike!!

Maybe in another year or two I might have enough material for more than the online posts. But for now you'll just have to put up with me bombarding this place with ride reports and photos.  Hopefully once things slow down, and most of us have our bikes put away for the winter, some of the other regulars will take the time to post their own collection of ride report links together in this thread, too. Chief, Steve, Mike, Don, Del, CoolHand, Jeff and many others have posted some really good ride reports on here. It would be great to be able to browse through them all in one spot. And to see all the reports from any one of those forum members, at a glance.

I guess its just a case of compiling all your ride reports into one neat and tidy thread. Or, if you don't have many ride reports, writing them up and attatching the pictures then compiling them into one neat and tidy thread!
I want a bike so bad, and your ride reports are making me drool and I can almost imagine being on some of those rides with you guys! Can't wait till the spring!

to get the url for a ride report, just note the url in the address when you click on a ride report you have posted.
ie: when im viewing your last ride report, the url in the address bar in my browser shows up as "http://www.ridetherock.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1520" a copy and paste will do just fine. just copy and paste the thread title of your ride report, then copy and paste the url. should look something like this. Going off half cocked - http://www.ridetherock.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1520 you can also do it using the url button as drz has done for a neater link without showing the full url. first, copy the url for the ride report as above, then type the thread title, then with the thread title highlighted, hit the url button  with will pop up a window for you to paste in the url of the text you have highlighted. the result being like this.Going Off Half Cocked!

Just spent a 1/2hr perusing the photo/Ride reports at advrider.com, linked above ... absolutely stunning! Fantastic pics & write-ups! Someone suggested a book of Ride Reports and photos ... brilliant idea! A great promotional piece for Nfld. tourism and keepsake that would be! ... In fact the motorcycling scene is so big here right now that a book encompassing ALL genres of the sport on the "Rock" would likely go over well!
BTW ... I gotta say, the more I see the Versys, the more I like 'em!
