I just watched my first episode of "Top Gear" this weekend.

Where has it been all my life? I am no gear head and know absolutely NADA about cars and such.....

...but this show is frikkin' hilarious!

Yes. Best show not on regular TV. The photography alone keeps me watching.
The best link I have found for current shows to download is, www.finalgear.com

You can download YEARS of this show here, thepiratebay.org

Even my mother watches it. It is the single most viewed TV show IN THE WO-RRR-LLLLD!

I really love the segments that are the challenges with my favourite being the 'Italian mid-engined supercars for less than a second-hand Mondeo challenge'.

And the scenery is stunning....

A particularly worthwhile episode was the 'Road trip special — used American car for $1000 challenge', a trip from Miami to New Orleans. The ending in New Orleans is one of their rare serious moments.

The episode I saw was an extended test drive of the Dodge Challenger SRT8 , the Cadillac CTS-V and the Corvette ZR1. They drove all three road trip style from San Fran to the Bonneville Salt flats seeing if they could get them to reach 150mph, 160mph and 170mph respectively....crazy

And hilarious because they made fun of all things american the whole time!

Another episode I saw recently had a race between a Vincent Black Shadow, a steam train and a nice old Jag. Hammond was on the Vincent, May in the Jag and Jeremy was shovelling coal in the train :-).

I really enjoyed this episode, the bike was lovely and brought back a lot of memories (not that we ever had a Vincent).

The amphibious car episode is a classic.

eta: And one of the funniest Celebrity interviews was James Blunt.

Old episodes run every night on BBCCanada ch86 in St.John's a couple of times a night and the new one runs Thursdays I believe. I don't think I've seen a bad one, always a couple of chuckles.
