    WoodSToc

It looks like "pods" are tiny private rooms. No bathroom or shower, just two single bunks, bunkbed style. Oh goody!!! Looks like 4 big smelly bikers could squeeze in der!! one on each bed and other 2 on floor!!! Better than sleeping on bar floor! And the odors in the morning with 4 men...

    WoodSToc

$1000 includes bike and trailer. Wifey and I to and from Argentia. Pod on return trip only. I want to have my wife experience sleeping on the floor in bar area like I usually do when I cross by myself. I took pity on her on the way back home after 2 weeks and got a pod!! I am too kind. I...

    WoodSToc

NO cabins available either way. We have a "pod" booked for return trip. It appears to be a single bunk beds, but I have no idea how many of these "pods" are in a room. I fear children screaming and drunk people in middle of night.

    St Pierre

Was there last summer. I left my bike at a campground pretty close to the ferry terminal. 10 min walk. I learned that auto or bike insurance purchased here does not cover us in St. Pierre. I was told it was about $100-$150 to purchase insurance to drive our bike or car in St. Pierre. We...

Camping Gear - What works, what don't?

enjoyed reading about camping on this crappy day. I can't wait. Towing my Aspen camper opens up a ton of storage and very very comfy sleeping. I just bought a great folding table at Princess auto. I also purchased a small solar charger.

Where are you planning to ride in 2024

Appreciate your input. I have done all these roads myself several times on bike. Wife has never done a "longer" bike trip. She has only spent a week camping in a tent with me on bike around NL. I am hoping the "luxury" of towing the camper will help her enjoy it more!!

Where are you planning to ride in 2024

I plan WoodSToc again in Aug. Plan to take wife and tow my Aspen camper. I can't wait till I can get out again and use my camper and bike. So much better than a tent. I even plan to skip a few weekends at my cabin in favor of bike and camper.

Went for a ride today...never ending hi-jack thread

Am I getting old? I have not been riding in over a week either. I even put one of my bikes in storage for the winter. Just too friggin' cold in the mornings. Much easier to jump into my big warm truck and drive to work. I even have heated gear!

First US Cross Border Trip Since Covid!!

Zero issues gong back and forth a couple of times a couple weeks ago weeks ago from NB to Maine. The border officer coming back into Canada was more cooked than the one entering USA. I had nothing to declare so we just waved through. We are off to Vegas in a couple of weeks Let’s see...

    Meat Cove

So apparently this place is an iconic campground for motorcycle camping. Crappy road to get here only to find out they are full. So I just set up on the road but the campground and the fine lady said she would not charge me the camp fee of $45!!! Ching Ching. Flies might carry me away though
