Heads up for anyone doing a run around the Cape Shore loop. While there is some new pavement here and there that is most welcome, there are also some very,very deep potholes that would swallow a motorcycle wheel. I think if you struck one of these on a motorcycle you would be in serious trouble so please be careful. You could be dodging one and strike another. Help would be a long ways away too. In a car you would do expensive damage. It's quite bad in the cranberry bog area. The road down to Lance Cove is as bad as ever but repairs seem to be on the way as there is expensive rock crushing and culvert replacement ongoing. Also, it appeared to me that the sewer outfall that cut through one end of the beach is not longer there. perhaps it is extended out to sea most likely but in any event the beach is cleaner than I have ever seen it. Well worth the crappy road ride down.
