Spent a couple of nights on New World Island and did some riding and sightseeing. I added some pics below.
Campsite #12 at Dildo Run Provincial Park.
Heading to Fogo was great, however the return trip, not so much. I had hoped to return on the 2pm ferry and arrived at the dock just before 1:30pm. After waiting for 30 minutes, the ramp to the boat closed up and set sail empty! There was a medical emergency on Change Island, and the ferry was called for help. That meant waiting for another 2.5hrs. And in fact, it was probably a three hour wait before boarding.
The arrow points in the direction of the cafeteria, your vehicle and My Little Pony!
After arriving in Farewell and docked, the front ramp wouldn’t open. The boat had to leave the dock, and turn 180...and everyone had to reverse off the boat. It was a long day of waiting in the hot sun....but we made some new friends and exchanged some good stories!
