Why am I seeing in-line hyperlink text (spam) in posts. Just noticed it today on a couple of different threads.

For example, this is one post I saw. :

Many youth football organizations are having a difficult time equipping their players suitably, according to Twan Russell, director of youth and community Programs for the Miami Dolphins. Russell stated that, "Having the proper equipment, in many cases, is the difference in making the game of football safe and fun." Equipment expenses often exceed the funds generated by player fees. It is available in 13 colors. The Wholesale Coach bags helmet retails for around $44.99, as of mid 2015, although NFL jerseys wholesale bulk discounts may be available with some companies. That price is for the smallest model, made to fit a player weighing 40 to 60 lbs. Prices go up according to the players weight and size, with the largest made for players 160 180 lbs. and costing about $44. range in price from around $15 for a basic numbered jersey. If you wish to customize a jersey to include a team name, the price increase Authentic nfl jerseys to about $21.99 as of mid 2015. More than $3 million worth of equipment has been purchased through the program since 2006. Selected youth leagues receive a Wholesale jerseys from china variety of football and uniform options.

No hyperlink in the above text copied but I highlighted the text in red that was hyperlinked. Is this a new feature?

They apply for user accounts and post messages with links to their web sites. The idea is that 1000's of these back links add context and credibility, helping with their search engine ranking on google.

Sometimes it's the reverse. They surround the links in spammy text and trick google into penalizing web sites. This has been happening to mine for about a year. It has really hurt my business.

Thanks, I figured it must have been something like that. Especially since the member has a total of three posts and they are all spammy and not particularly relevant to the forum. (Didn't notice that at first).
