...and yes, I think Gros Morne should be the location of the 2017 soiree, or somewhere on the west coast. Lark Harbour is also a good choice.

Got mine on the 28th....ordered about 3 weeks ago. Never did get email confirmation.

And how exactly does one hang the pass from the rear view mirror of their motorcycle? :)

Got my pass yesterday. Also never received an email confirmation. I think I will get it plastic laminated - otherwise the thin paperboard card won't last long.

    Laminated...good tip!

When I first looked at the pass, it appeared to be made from some sort of paper. Upon closer examination, it seems to be some sort of plastic. Lamination might make it stronger but might just melt it instead. Think I will leave it alone.

Got mine this morning. Not sure if I'll get a chance to use it but still nice to have just in case.

I probably should have requested my pass earlier, but now that I am planning on visiting again in June , I ordered mine yesterday.
Here is hoping that it shows up before I head that way, as they projected a 6-8 week time frame for delivery!

So the talks of a free National Park pass got us all excited in the off season. Who here was disappointed when no one ever asked for the bloody thing when you pulled up on your bike proudly waving that sumbitch?

Did anyone get to visit any new parks this year? Parc National de la Gasp├ęsie was new for me and I also got to Kouchibouguac National Park. Gros Morne was as full with tourists as I've ever seen it in early July. Great idea for Canada 150 celebrations I think.

It was nice to see Park Canada offer these free passes. Sadly our provincial government had other plans.....like increasing the provincial park passes from $20 to $50 a year. Like WTF :(
I used my pass for the Ryan Premises in Bonavista, which was quite interesting if you got to talk with the tour guide. He was full of knowledge and enjoyed talking about the history.

Fortech, Scooter and I spent a night in Fundy National Park on the way back from Pizzamans ranch.

I did some travelling this year but never used my National Parks pass. I was also disappointed in the NL parks fee increases - I did a few nights camping there this year.

I did not get out camping once this year! Again!
