I am selling two KLRs. One that’s put together, and one that is in parts. I’m also selling a whole of aftermarket parts and other goodies.

SELLING PRICE: I’m asking $1,400. Plus, another $1,000 to be donated to charity. Since I was helped out so graciously when I needed a bike back then.

I am selling because I have no time for riding anymore. I have completely different priorities right now, and enjoying myself on a bike is no longer one of them :(

Here is why I have two bikes:

I had one (green) KLR that had ~8000km and with tons of excellent aftermarket parts.

I had another (black) KLR with about ~40000km but with recently rebuilt 685 engine, cams done, valves done. A beast.

I swapped 685 engine into the green bike, and then parted the black bike out for my own spare parts before I moved out east from Calgary

I continued doing tons of work and buying parts for my KLR. I loved the thing and spent countless hours working on it. I’ve amassed tons of stuff for it

Then I got my green bike stolen last year. My pride and joy.

So I bought a replacement. A red bike (Thank you murph). Lots of km’s (speedo broken, but in 50k+ range). It was riden in the winter. I cleaned it up. Got it in good running order. School started. I no longer had time.

I wanted to sell earlier, but I was waiting for my engine from Calgary to be shipped out here. So here it is.

So here is what you’re buying:

One KLR that is running. It’s cleaned up and going. But the engine will need to be rebuilt sooner or later (perfect for you, since you’ll have another perfect engine)

A perfect, completely stock engine with ~8,000km in a crate. Was stored filled completely with oil.

Duplicates of almost every part. With some exceptions (I might not include the main-frame if you don’t want it)

Other stuff:

Aftermarket parts installed include:

Pro taper handlebars

Acerbis handguards

IMS shifter

Off road pegs

Progressive fork springs

Oversized rotor

Stainless brake lines (front)

New Battery

And other miscellaneous stuff done like sub frame bolt, doohickey, and handlebar riser

Aftermarket stuff not installed include:

Highway windshield

TWO aluminum skid plates (one with attached front case)

Nautilus loud air horn

Eaglemike fork brace

Dirtracks engine guards

Tires:

There is an extra set of wheels (with sprockets), and they have Dunlop D606s installed

The Bike has Kenda front and Shinko Rear currently installed

Front and back Anakee 2s

Kenda rear

Dunlop K750 front

Shinko 244 front

Balancing beads

Tire spoon kit

Air compressor

Also a bunch of patched up tubes

Other stuff:

TWO different types of gas tank bags

TWO pelican cases that are attached to the mounting frame from a Moose Expedition Rack (rack was on stolen bike)

Heated gloves

Doohickey parts and tools

Service, user, and Clymer manual

Battery charger

Oil filters

USED chain

Front brakes pads

K&N filter recharge kit

Other parts worth mentioning:

TWO radiators

There are TWO extra sets of forks AND triple trees, one from a bike with less than 10k and one with 44k

New Fork seals

New Gaskets

New Bearings

Notes:

There is an extra front caliper, but it was in really rough shape and might not be useable. The one I installed on the bike is in great shape

The rear caliper that isn’t installed on the bike has a set of brake pads which look very close to new

The old carburetor was leaking at the gas intake swivel connector. The one I replaced it with was from the 8k bike

There aren’t duplicate fairings
