Batteries!!

I'd like to complain about motorcycle batteries!
Yesterday, I had to order a replacement for the OEM battery on my bike. After just 13 years and barely 160,000 km on the 2011 FJR, it got to the point where it didn't maintain enough charge after a couple weeks of sitting (no tender) to reliably start the bike. Combination of reduced reserve capacity and increased self-discharge rate. I could probably struggle through another riding season but it might leave me stranded at some point when it was least convenient. On my previous 2007 FJR, I got over 250,000 km on the OEM battery, but only 10 years.
I bought the current bike with ~60,000 km on the clock six years ago.

All very tongue-in-cheek - I have been most impressed with the OEM Yuasa batteries that came with these bikes. I didn't hesitate to pay a premium for another Yuasa.
I checked prices from the local Yamaha dealer ($230). Amazon, FortNine and most other on-line sellers were in the $175 range (including shipping). Some up to $185 and some charge up to $15 for shipping.
I ended out buying from SaskBattery - Link for $139,50 (shipped). Because of shipping constraints, they have to activate the battery before shipping or charge extra because liquid acid constitutes dangerous goods for shipping purposes.
