With Dark NL last year and already after having several small outages this year do you trust the grid to keep you in the comforts that you pay for?
I just got power back after 30 minutes or so and given the assurances that NL Hydro is capable of delivering the required MW I still have my doubts.
I know more and more people who consider a generator to be cheap peace of mind. I have one and a woodstove so I will not be stuck and a lot of people I know are doing the same. Propane fireplaces, back up generators with full containers of fuel, woodstoves are becoming the norm.
Do you have a method of keeping the house warm or the fridge cold when the arse goes out of it?
