Hoping everyone has a good one this coming year.
I didn't manage to accomplish all I wished in 2023, but it wasn't bad. I did the Trans-Lab and some of NL west coast, but bike electrical issues and an uncertain longer range forecast stood in the way. Other than that, just a couple of short riding/camping trips and considerable local riding. Winter will be pretty laid back (I don't ski or snowmobile) although I have some household interior work to do and my wife and I have been considering going south at some point for a week or so. Trying to make some decisions on next year's riding season.
Might end out with a return trip to Newfoundland after last year's trip got cut short. If I do that, I will also likely do a round trip to Winnipeg to visit daughter and family and some shorter camping trips into New England.
Alternative is to do the Alaska trip and some of the American northwest that I have considered for several years (with a Winnipeg stop in one direction or the other).
I have lots of time to make up my mind and do the planning but the weeks seem to pass quickly. Either way, I am hoping to do a bit more traveling - visiting and camping along the way.
Anyone have any special plans for next year?
