I was going through some old tools I have acquired. These were my Dad's. He would be 108 now if he was alive. So these tools are old. He worked on heavy equipment and air craft. He was a member of the WWII ferry command.
I am intrigued by this one. Snap on. It has a spring at the socket end so I'm thinking it is an original impact type socket? But I can't figure out how it would have worked. How could u hold it with another large wrench then hit the end with a hammer while trying to turn a bolt??
